D.Sc. in Structural Engineering, EESC-USP, 1998
Professor of Computer Science |
I am a full professor of Computer Science at the College of Computing (FACOM) of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), Brazil, where I lead the Visualization, Simulation, and Games (VSG) research group. I am also a member of the Visual and Geometric Processing (VGP) research group of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (ICMC) of the University of São Paulo (USP). My research spans the fields of physics-based animation, computational mechanics, geometric processing, visualization, mesh generation, and GPGPU (general-purpose computation on graphics hardware). I received my D.Sc. in Structural Engineering from the São Carlos School of Engineering (EESC) of the University of São Paulo in 1998. During 2011-2012 I was with ICMC-USP as a postdoctoral researcher. I joined UFMS in 1991.
